諏訪神社は、荒町地区の鎮守さまです。
神社では、毎年１０月上旬に秋の例祭が行われます。
当番地区が精魂こめて制作する「藁馬(わらうま)」を載せた花馬を、子どもたちが元気よく掛け声を掛け合いながら、地域内を練りまわします。地域の若者たちは、ハッピ姿で勇敢に神輿を担ぎまわり、境内では児童による舞の奉納もあり、地域挙げての活気に満ちた秋祭りです。
