Geocache Description:

The Haydon Hunt are a small series of caches designed by my family for if you fancy a little potter around. We hope you enjoy our little trail! They are all on the wagon ways which are a historic 19th century network once used to carry coal to the ships waiting at the Tyne. I love these paths for walking and cycling some of them are part of the coast to coast bike route. You can travel to many fantastic country parks such as the Rising Sun Country Park or see the beach at Tynemouth or the quayside in Newcastle all using these network of paths. The cache is a small box so can take very small swaps, you will need your own pen to sign the log! Careful of the prickles!!!
