Well, I had a great idea for a cache come to me several years ago, and I finally gathered the materials and put it together. After trying to find a good spot for it, I could not seem to get a good location. After moving to Utah, I thought, this would need to be in a yard. Found a nice location, but it seems that it is too close to another cache according to the official measure. So I will have to sit on that one for a while.
This is the second nice idea I had that took a few added measures and changes along the route. Taking some ideas from other caches I have found, and modifying them, this is what we have today. Hopefully you will enjoy the cache as much as I had making it.
The log you will have to search for. A hint to finding the log can be found once the lock is figured out. (You may need a TOT to find it though) Please do not think there is no log. Those who log the cache online without getting to the log or place their own will have their log removed from the web page. Please be sure to put things back when you are done.
If you have never seen one of these locks before, it might be a good idea to search them out to see how to open them. The combination for the lock can be found at the cache site. The type of lock can easily be found with some help I have given.
NOTE:
SQUEEZE THE SHACKLE FIRMLY TOWARD THE LOCK TWICE AND RELEASE TO "CLEAR" THE LOCK
There is room (and a container) for trackables and other trading items you may wish to leave for others. Please be sure to follow the guidelines from the Geocaching site.
