Last year Santa Kracked his Kringle. The year before that, he fell off his rocker. Before that, he lost his mind,
Because of the craziness of the previous events, he has now totally Slipped his Sanity!
As usual, December will be here way faster than it should be.
The snow will be flying sooner than anyone want’s,
And, as Wal Mart constantly reminds us, even before Halloween, it will soon be that time again…
For stealing the other guys’ gift… within reason.
And, like the previous years, we will do it with an event. If you attended the parties the last three years, then you know of the insanity that ensued. If you didn’t, then you missed out on some serious pulling of sanity strings.
As with the previous events, there will be an exchange, but not of gifts. This will be a Cache exchange.
If you haven’t had the luxury of attending before, then here’s the run down. Everyone can attend and bringing a cache is optional however, those that want in on the exchange must bring an unplaced/unused cache container.Wrapping the cache is highly encouraged! I strongly recommend unique and unusual however, you can go ordinary and plain too (boring). Once everyone has brought a cache and placed it under the tree, they will draw a number signifying their turn to pick a cache from under the tree. Due to the excessive insanity of the first two years, and the less insane outcome of last year, the rules will be printed and available at the event.
There will be drinks and goodies but you are encouraged to bring something to share.
When: Saturday, 8 December from 6 pm to 9 pm, or later if necessary
Where: INB Bank in Airway Heights. Yesssss, in a bank.
Why: Because the last three years were completely insane, it MUST be repeated again!
So, you have plenty of time to get creative and construct the perfect cache container unless you are a Scrooge and wait ‘til the last minute and bring a bison tube.
