Welcome to the L-Series. This is a series of caches placed as part of the HD JP memorial caches collection. All the caches published on the same day, so you can get them in any order you wish. You may wish to view them on a map before you set out, however! The list of all the caches is here: L-Series Caches. Be sure to collect the code word from each cache in the series; you will need them in order to solve the puzzle for the coordinates to the final.
I spent a lot of time exploring the woods as a kid. I'm sure that's part of the reason why geocaching appeals to me now because I get to relive that sense of adventure every time I head out in search of hidden treasures. Of course, some of the geo-treasures are down right hard to find and others seemingly impossible to attain. Yet, we try it anyway. Enter the "Phone A Friend" option, or PAF. Yes, we have all used the PAF to help us see what was often right in front of us. I learned early in my geocaching career that HD JP was apparently on everyone's PAF list. And that was not because he had already found nearly everything (which he had), but because he was always willing to offer assistance and help a friend. So thanks, HD JP, for the tips, tricks, creativity, lessons learned and, of course, the ever so appreciated PAF.
