I never get tired of the short drive up Sylvan Beach Esplanade on my way home from work, with its relaxing views and dreamy sunsets. The norh of the Esplanade ends at the small park where the cache is located. My family are lucky enough to live on Bribie. When we've been away, seeing the view down Pumicestone Passage towards the Glasshouse Mountains always remind us that we are home.
Pumicestone Passage itself stretches for 35 kilometres and has a system of passages, channels, sandbanks and islands. It offers a recreational area for boating, fishing, bird watching, swimming and other watersports. You can frequently catch sight of dolphins and dugongs playing in the passage. It is a bird watchers paradise with over 360 speices of birds having been recorded, some native, some migratory.
The area where the cache is located is frequented by muggles so you'll need to be careful when searching for it not to give the game away! Once you've signed the log be careful not to be seen replacing it, then sit for a few minutes, take in the breeze and enjoy the view. You're sure to have company.
FTF goes to dickbev - congrats!
