Geocache Description:

This cache was published for the Blewbury Christmas Caper 2018 event.

The cache is not located at the published coordinates. In order to find the cache, you need to solve the following simple puzzle (with apologies to Clement Clarke Moore).

'Twas the cache before Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The cache had been set and submitted with care
In hopes the reviewer soon would be there.

The cachers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of FTFs danced in their heads.
NADAJ in her kerchief and AJ in a cap
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap.

When out in the hall there arose such a clatter.
I sprung from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to my 'phone I flew like a flash,
Entered my password and checked on my cache.

I launched Geocaching and went to the map.
The signal was poor so I gave it a tap.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But a map of the area and a new icon right here.
The puzzle was live for everyone to see
And I knew before long there'd be questions for me.

More rapid than eagles, the emails they came,
Pinging and beeping and sorted by name.
First Daniel Glover, Rosela, then Daniel again.
Others were silent, no need to explain.
Questioning Google, thinking back to school.
Now cache away! Cache away! Cache away all!

As cachers with a puzzle, DT rated high,
When they meet with a problem, let out a sigh.
So on with their quest, the cachers they flew
With a sleigh full of pens (in case they lost one or two).

And then in a twinkling, I saw on my 'phone
The first green light in the checker - what a milestone.
Who would it be? How could I tell?
Would Geo-Myck have broken the spell?

Some work on their own and keep it under their hat.
(There's a cake from up north who's well known for that.)
Others are less quiet and puzzle out loud.
Such as Balloonist, when he's not in a cloud.

Jolly Jack Tar always wants to be first.
WendyKMJ? Second at worst.
Maybe Harwellian will find a way?
Longpod will definitely do it one day.

Donner+Blitzen are good reindeer names.
TTA and Team Tandem also like these games.
Oxford Stone and BAG should be in the top ten.
Hello, there's an email from Daniel again!

I decided I would go and watch all the fun
So I went out to GZ to see who would come.
Before long there were footsteps and the light of a screen.
A cacher was coming. I knew what this would mean.

He spoke not a word but went straight to his work
And filled in the logbook, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose
And giving a nod, the container did close.

He replaced the cache box and picked up his pen,
Then he checked his 'phone and set off again.
But I heard him exclaim 'ere he drove out of sight,
"Good caching to all and to all a good night!"
