Update 11/09/2021: I placed a camouflaged coffee container near the published coords. It appears that the container mentioned in the 2015 update was lost in a controlled burn of the area. I couldn't find any trace of it, but there's lots of charred material. Please make sure you place the new container back as found and cover it with natural materials.
Update 11/15/2015: I placed a new quart sized container today a bit further up the hill from the trail. The coords were changed to the actual cache location, not the fire ring. Please make sure you place it back as found and cover it with natural materials. I'm leaving the original description intact below, as well as the hint, which is no longer accurate. A lot has changed here in the 13 years this cache has been active. There used to be two benches, now there is only one. The Pinhoti Trail also passes along the side of the lake. The fire ring is almost completely indistinguishable and the old fallen trees have rotted away only to be replaced by more fallen trees. Parking closer will cost you a $3 parking fee, but the hike in from either direction on the Pinhoti is free. Enjoy!

This is a cool cache that takes a bit of walking to get to.It's a little way off of the trail that wraps around the lake. It is an average sized ammo can with a silver chain.Take some time to enjoy the nature and while you're there might as well swim! Enjoy!Contents:water proof matches, hotwheels car, digital watch(kinda beat up), hackie sack and more!Fixed contents: Log book, pens, pencils, camera. Have fun finding the cache!THE COORDINATES ARE FOR THE FIRE RING, NOT THE ACTUAL CACHE. YOU GO TO THE COORDINATES AND THEN RUMMAGE AROUND. THE CACHE IS AROUND 150 to 200 FEET FROM THE FIRE RING!it's really not that hard to find, hope you have fun!
