My favorite kind of vistas! Slickrock, hoodoo-esque formations, and a great view of La Mesita Blanca are all things to be found at or near GZ. This is a very remote region on a small pocket of BLM land, surrounded by reservation land. It is a spectacular little pocket with unique formations and almost guaranteed solitude. Take the time to explore the area beyond the caches to really see how special it is.
When driving here, I strongly recommend taking Exit 131 to get to the BLM gate. The road is not in great condition near the end, but still drivable, at least at the time of cache placement.
