Cache Description
This is a 3 stage mystery cache. You must complete each stage below. At each stage you will gather a part of the 4 digit combination that unlocks the ammo can that is placed at the posted coordinates (inside the office).
Stage 1. Although when the site was operated as a Stagecoach Inn, many more beds were used in the house to accommodate all the Inn visitors as well as the family. How many beds are on display in the Inn today? This number = 'A'.
Stage 2. How many fireplaces are in the Inn and all of the Inn’s outbuildings? (helpful hint. Remember that all COOKING was also done in fireplaces). That number = 'BB'.
Stage 3. During its day, the Inn relied on many outbuilding to support the operation of the main Inn. How many outbuildings are on the grounds of Traveler’s Rest? (helpful hint. Do not count the modern public restroom or the Ranger's House) That number = 'C'.
When you're ready, go to the posted coordinates and ask the attendant for the Geocache. Use the numbers 'ABBC' to open the lock.
