Sandlings Walk: Start or Finish Traditional Cache
Fast Running Monster: Checked on this today, still in place but the host is on its last legs and it is getting a bit overgrown and rubbishy. Plus I am tired of it constantly getting a low health score even though it is never missing! Cache now removed.

The Sandlings Walk is a 55-mile long distance walking route from Ipswich to Southwold, passing through the beautiful East Suffolk countryside. The walk crosses three of Suffolk's major rivers, the Deben, the Alde and the Blyth. It takes you through Rendlesham and Dunwich forests. It passes along the Deben waterfront at Woodbridge, along the coast beside the power station at Sizewell and takes you through Dunwich, a once major port, now largely lost to the sea. The route also takes you through the patches of remaining Suffolk sandlings heathland. The sandy heathland was grazed by sheep when the wool trade was locally important. Grazing maintained the grassland and kept it clear of trees and gorse. Nowadays, the major agriculture in Suffolk is arable and farming but a few patches of historic heathland remain. The path will take you to, amongst others, Wombling Rabbit's field puzzles in Kesgrave, several of sarah2kids quirky caches, through Rendlesham Forest where our Space Invaders and Bear and Back Again caches are and past some of suffolksearcher's excellent caches around Aldringham. I have placed this cache near to the start, or finish, depending on whether you start at the northern or southern end and created a bookmark list of caches on, or close to, the route. Enjoy your exploration. You are looking for a camo bison.
