On January 1st, 2012 The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) instigated a $7.00 a day parking fee in marked areas of the Denman Wildlife area. However there are many turnouts that are not marked, so if you are willing to walk a little further, you can avoid the fee if you would like.
Also, fur trapping is allowed here, so if you are near the creeks, rivers, marshes, or ponds, if you go off-trail be aware of this.
