El Lugar
Al Oeste de Taninga y pasando la pampa de Pocho, siempre por la ruta 28 que conduce hacia la localidad riojana de Chepes, comienza en el kilómetro 83 este hermoso camino de montaña. Se suceden 5 túneles con imponentes vistas, construídos en 1930 para unir Córdoba con La Rioja. Pasando el último tunel, aparece este mirador sobre la Quebrada de la Mermela y los llanos Riojanos que se pierden en el horizonte.
El paisaje se completa con la vista de árboles autóctonos que crecen sobre el filo del abismo, y los cóndores que sobrevuelan el imponente paisaje.

The Place
To the west of Taninga and passing the Pampa de Pocho, always by the route 28 that leads to the Rioja town of Chepes, begins at kilometer 83 this beautiful mountain road. There are 5 tunnels with imposing views, built in 1930 to join Córdoba with La Rioja. Passing the last tunnel, this viewpoint appears over the Quebrada de la Mermela and the Riojano plains that are lost in the horizon.The landscape is completed with the sight of native trees that grow on the edge of the abyss, and the condors that fly over the imposing landscape.

When to search for the cache
When searching for this cache please avoid busy moments such as weekends and holydays, as this area gets really crowded with geomuggles.
In Argentina the Geocaching is not yet a game as popular as in other countries, and is common that geomuggles steal caches just for fun. So, please search and pick up the cache when no one is looking, and later leave the cache the same way and well hidden, sure that it is not visible from any angle!!!! Always try to pass unnoticed.
