This cache is located on Coney Island.
Coney Island is open from 7am-7pm daily!
Besides being rich in history, the 50 ha Coney Island Park houses a wide variety of habitats, including coastal forests, grasslands, mangroves, and casuarina woodlands. It is home to a wide variety of fauna and flora, some of which are critically endangered. Some plants at the park are presumed nationally extinct in the wild.
Tips for visiting Coney Island Park
- The terrain is rugged at parts and may be unsuitable for younger children.
- To maintain the rustic character of the park and as part of our efforts to preserve the park’s natural habitat, there is no electricity or piped water on the island. Please bring water with you when you visit the park.
- Please wear long pants and covered shoes for protection from insects such as sandflies.
- Do keep to the designated trails and appreciate any animals you may see from afar. If you encounter Long-tailed Macaques, keep a safe distance and do not feed them.
- Do avoid visiting the park during a storm, or seek shelter immediately if it rains while you are within the park.
- Please remember to take only what you have brought in, and leave nothing behind but footprints.

You can rent bikes from a nearby rental shop (which is shown in the waypoints) to ride around the island. I recommend this as the island is quite large. Make sure you bring water, a hat and sunscreen. This cache is not too far from the main entrance, however, another cache: Rabbit Redux (GC64Y09) is located on the island. How about finding this cache between waypoints of the other cache? Take care when retrieving the cache, and make sure that the cache is properly closed so that it does not get wet. Enjoy the cache!
