You are invited to a New Year's Day Event at Corbett's Glen! Geopups welcome! Let's welcome 2019 at beautiful Corbett's Glen. You do not need to bring a geopup to attend, but they are welcome to join us for the event and/or the optional hike afterwards.
Meet at the posted coordinates, which is the parking area off Penfield Rd. This meet and greet event will be held from 12pm to 12:30pm. After the meet and greet, there will be an optional hike beginning at the nearby trailhead, down to the waterfalls, around the loop to the end of the park, and hike back to the posted coordinates. I expect we will be back at the posted coordinates by 1:30pm.
There is one steep hill on the way down to the waterfalls, so I suggest bringing a hiking stick. If you prefer to skip the steep hill, there is an alternate parking area on Glen Rd. If you park here, it's relatively low terrain, and you can wait by the waterfalls and meet up with the rest of the group mid-hike.
