Geocache Description:

This cache is located on fire department property with a lightly wooded area near the building and plenty of parking. It is in an official large size container.

This cache is about alligator safety and Hilton Head Island is home to many alligators. Never get close to an alligator - if it hisses or opens its mouth - back away even more. Never feed or entice alligators - it is dangerous and illegal.

You will often times see alligators sunning themselves on the edge of lagoons - remember to keep children and pets away! Respect these fascinating creatures as part of the natural beauty of South Carolina but always keep a safe distance.

Find the box and there is an alligator eraser for you
