There are lots of newly published caches to find in Newmarket, including some brand new church micros, and also look out for another couple of caches on Mardle day!
What is a 'Mardle'?: A Mardle is a name given to a monthly meeting of Geocachers from the Norfolk and Suffolk area. They are held at different locations every month. The word means to chat or natter and seems very appropriate for the monthly gatherings. This one is the first one (we think) to be held in Newmarket, and also the first Mardle we have organised.
Where: Come and join us at The Stable, 65 High St, Newmarket, Suffolk CB8 8NA. There is plenty of parking fairly close by. The café is on the first floor and there are both stairs and a lift.
When: Friday 18 January 2019, 11.00am – 12.30am. We have arranged with the manager to have a group of tables set aside once we have an idea of numbers, so let us know in your 'Will Attend' log how many will be coming.
Come and meet other local cachers for a hot drink or a light lunch (optional purchase)! Bring TB's for swapping or discovering (we'll have the usual couple of boxes handy) - and don't forget to 'drop them' on the event page using a 'Write Note' before you arrive.
Parking: There is plenty of parking fairly close by (behind Palace Street and at All Saints - see Parking 1 and Parking 2 marked on the map - usually 60p for 2 hours).
