Con este caché os propongo un agradable paseo de aproximadamente 1.1 km por la Costa Quebrada, en el tramo que discurre junto a la Playa de Canallave. La senda es la antigua carretera que bordea el pinar del Parque Natural del Liencres. Actualmente se encuentra cortada al tráfico ya que está en marcha un proyecto de restauración de la vegetación de acantilado impulsado por el Gobierno de Cantabria. La idea es limitar el paso para recuperar la vegetación degradada que es muy sensible al pisoteo. En verano muchos recordaremos cómo se ponía de gente y de coches aparcados en cualquier parte de cualquier manera sin demasiado respeto al entorno natural que tenemos el privilegio de tener.
En las coordenadas publicadas (N 43º 27.011', W 003º 57.697') puede encontrarse a mano derecha un cartel informativo de la senda. En este caso seguiremos el sendero asfaltado para disfrutar de este entorno de gran belleza y, con un poco de suerte, hacernos con el caché. La senda puede continuarse si se desea y conduce a las próximas playas de El Madero, Somocuevas, Cerrias, Portio y la Arnía.
El caché no cuenta con instrumento de escritura ni permite el intercambio de objetos. Es necesario por ello traer instrumento de escritura. El logbook se puede sacar fácilmente despegando con ayuda de la uña la cinta aislante. DEBES TOMARTE TU TIEMPO EN REINTRODUCIRLO EN SU CONTENEDOR TAL Y COMO LO ENCONTRASTE. ASEGÚRATE DE QUE EL PROTECTOR FRENTE A LA HUMEDAD ESTÁ CORRECTAMENTE COLOCADO.

This geocache proposes a stroll of about 1.1 km beside the coast ‘Costa Quebrada’, specifically beside the Canallave beach. The path was formerly a road around the pine wood in the Natural Park of Liencres. This road is no longer used by cars since there is an on-going project for recovering the cliff vegetation. The objective is to limit trespassing, in this way enabling the stamping-sensitive vegetation to grow back. In summertime, it was not unusual to find the place crowded not only by people but also by cars parked anywhere, not paying enough attention to the surrounding natural environment that we are so lucky to have.
At the listed coordinates (N 43º 27.011', W 003º 57.697'), one can find on the right-hand side a panel (in Spanish) about the path. In our case, we will follow the road ‘sendero asfaltado’ enjoying the beautiful views and hopefully getting the geocache. If you wish, you can follow the road leading to the nearby beaches El madero, Somocuevas, Cerrias, Portio and Arnia.
The geocache does not contain any writing instrument and does not allow exchange. Thus, you have to bring your own writing instrument. The logbook can be easily released to sign by detaching the tape with your fingernail. Once you are finished, PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME TO CAREFULLY PUT IT BACK IN ITS PLACE JUST LIKE YOU FOUND IT. MAKE SURE YOU PROPERLY WRAP THE LOGBOOK IN THE MOISTURE PROTECTOR.
