The town of Edison was first settled by Ben Samson in 1869. It is named after Thomas Edison the inventor.
The nearby business started out in the early 30's as a Texaco Station. Lots of goods have been through its doors, from directions, auto supplies, penny candy, hunting ammunition, fishing tackle and now meals. It is currently a cafe that opened in 1945.
