An Invitation from Vancouver (the original Vancouver), Washington cacher.
You are invited to attend an Event early SUNDAY morning JANUARY 6TH from 8:00AM to 9:00AM at the Honolulu Coffee Experience at the corner of Kalakaua Ave and Kapiolani Blvd. Lots of free parking.
Please log a "will attend" as soon as you know you will be there and how many will be with you so I know approximately how many will attend the Event.
Each caching name will receive a small goodie bag when signing in.
My Geocaching name is Rose Red from the Brothers Grimm's story "Snow White and Rose Red". I have been Geocaching since October 2004.
I am an Oregonian living in Vancouver, Washington (across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon). I would like to meet some Cachers during my visit to Honolulu.
I have created historical and other geocaches in North Portland, Oregon and Clark County, Washington i.e. "Vanport, the City that drowned". I have created over a thousand Waymarks - primarily U.S. NRHP and Glacial Lake Missoula Flood Features.
I have found 3,443 Caches and 573 Benchmarks. I have found 106 Earthcaches in 13 states plus D.C. I have created 10 Earthcaches in Oregon and five Earthcaches in Washington State. I am waiting for approval on an Earthcache in Montana. I found 236 Virtuals.
I completed the Oregon DeLorme Atlas Challenge (GCQKKE) in August 2014 and Washington State DeLorme Atlas Challenge (GCQQ9B) in August 2017. I am focusing on filling in states on the "US States I've Cached In".
I have hosted Events in Washington State (Vancouver, Seattle and Bellingham), South Dakota, Virginia, Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, Georgia, Texas and now Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaiian Islands!
Looking forward to meeting you all. Maureen (Rose Red)
