This is the First in my Lawn Bowls series in which I hope to take you on a tour of Bowls Clubs with views of both oceans, Table Mountain and the city.
I am a keen Lawn Bowls player even though I am far from pension aged.
Milnerton Bowls Club is on the site of the old Cambridge-On-Sea Club. The 2 clubs amalgamated when Milnerton moved from next to the Golf course on Woodbridge Island to the current site.
Milnerton BC is one of the larger clubs by way of membership in the Western Cape.
The co-ordinates will take you to the Street parking. The Cache itself is inside the Club's Buildings as the outside caches have been muggled on 3 occassions.
The Club is accessible Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 15h00 to 20h00. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12noon to 20h00, Saturdays from 11:00 to 20h00 and most Sunday mornings from 09:00 to 13h00. These times may change be extended if there are competitions
Many of the Bowlers know of the Cache as does the Barman- Billy
They may be muggles, but most bowlers are friendly
