The first road bridge across Candlagan Creek was opened in 1966. Before that there were at least three footbridges between Broulee and Mossy Point going back to the 1940s. There are pictures of some of them at brouleebayfolklore.weebly.com/the-creek.html. Remnants of one of the footbridges are still visible downstream on the Mossy Point side of the creek. The current bridge was opened in 2016. It's a scenic location for this little troll to find a home.
