Geocache Description:

THE TRIBUTE:

The poetic works of the writers of England' Romantic Period (1800 - 1850), are marked by many things, but chief amongst them are a deep appreciation for nature and a love of spontaneity and freedom. These concepts are the very ones that I have grown to love about geocaching: the game allows players to explore the outdoors in fun, adventurous, and often spontaneous ways.

Of all the Romantics (Blake, Byron, Shelley, Keats, Wordsworth, and Coleridge), William Wordsworth is by far the most well-known and wrote many of the eras most renowned pieces. He is often called the Father of Romanticism, and his poems that extol the beauty of the natural world are truly inspiring.

This cache, which is located in a tiny patch of woods, is dedicated to William Wordsworth, and his deep love of nature, spontaneity, and poetry.

APPROACHING THE CACHE:

During business hours, it would probably be best to park at Genevieve Bond and enter the woods near their dumpster... although the woods are thick here. After business hours, it would probably be easiest to park in the Saratoga parking lot.

ABOUT THE CACHE:

The cache is a large container with plenty for trading items. There is a picture hint located in the gallery if you need it.
