Op 1 januari 2020 is het precies 100 jaar geleden dat de gemeenten Eindhoven (toendertijd niet veel meer dan de huidige binnenstad) fuseerde met de omliggende gemeenten Tongelre, Stratum, Gestel, Strijp en Woensel. De gemeente Groot-Eindhoven was geboren, maar daarmee gingen diverse andere gemeentes verloren.

Stap 1
Bezoek de 5 locaties van het Lab Adventure De Verdwenen Wapens van Eindhoven en verkrijg vijf bonuscodes. Gezien de onderlinge afstanden kun je dit het beste op de fiets of met de auto doen.

Stap 2
Ga naar de coördinaten bovenaan de pagina, daar vind je een viertal wapens. De volgorde van deze wapens bepaalt de volgorde van de bonusaanwijzingen die je hebt gekregen. Let op: de aanwijzing die je bij Woensel hebt gekregen zet je op de plaats van het wapen van Eindhoven.
Bepaal vervolgens de cachelocatie ten opzichte van de coördinaten zoals ze bovenaan deze pagina staan.

Let op: De bonus ligt in een gebied waar een lange broek in de zomer geen overbodige luxe is.



At January 1st, 2020, it has been exactly 100 hundred years since the city of Eindhoven reached it's current form. At January 1st, 1920, the municipality of Eindhoven, approximately the current center, merged with five surrounding villages: Woensel, Tongelre, Stratum, Gestel and Strijp. In this Lab Adventure you'll go looking for the five coat of arms that disappeared together with the independent municipalities.

Step 1
Visit the 5 locations of the Lab Adventure De Verdwenen Wapens van Eindhoven and obtain five bonus codes. Because of the mutual distances it's best to do this by bicycle or car.

Step 2
Go to the coordinates at the top of the page. There you'll find four coat of arms. The order of these coats of arms determines the order of the obtained bonus codes. Important: place the code obtained at Woensel at the position of the coat of arms of Eindhoven.
Now determine the location of the cache starting from the coordinates on top of this page.

Note: This cache is in an area where long trousers are very useful during summer.
