'Mr. Tambourine Man' is a song The Byrds covered in June 1965. It was origanily written and released in March 1965 by non other Bob Dylan. It's the only song Bob Dylan ever wrote that went to #1 in America. The Byrds formed in Los Angeles during 1964 and it had only one member of the 5 that would follow them through. His name was Jim McGuinn. It was in 1967 that he changed is name to Roger because of the influence of a guru in Indonesia.
