I am here in Parksville quite frequently, and I usually have an opportunity to find some caches with team_gee each time I am here. This cache is a simple park and grab (camoed matchstick container), and is intended as a "thank you" for all the terrific caches I've had an opportunity to find while caching in the Parksville/Qualicum area. This cache is also a big thank you to my favourite Parksville cachers of all: team_gee- who live in the neighbourhood. This little park is labeled on some maps as "San Malo Park", but is mostly just a greenspace. When I was younger, we used to ride our bikes in here, and in fact, there was a small bike park developed at one point in memory of a local boy who passed away. Today, it is quite rarely used, and there shouldn't be too many muggles around.
A quick note about cache maintenance: I am here to visit every couple months, but team_gee has graciously volunteered to address maintenance issues of an urgent nature.
