Where: Beside the town's famous windmills, at a good spot to watch the sunset and photograph the waterside buildings of Little Venice, weather permitting!.
When: 19:10-19:41 (sunset) on Tuesday, 2nd April 2019. Or 7.10pm-7.41pm 04.02.19 in US format.
What: A simple gathering of cachers - locals and visitors - to swap travel items and caching advice. I'll have just arrived on the island so may need some pointers. Please dress for the conditions. I hope to do some time-lapse filming for a 2019 GIFF movie too.
Who: Geocachers from far and wide, I hope. New to caching or cache events? You'll be made especially welcome.
Why: I like to meet cachers while I'm on my (many) travels and this seems like a great spot and opportunity when I'm visiting the island for the first time. I've been to Corfu and Rhodes in the past, but that was before I discovered caching (2003) and with this trip I tick Greece off my 'countries visited but not cached in' list. If everything goes to plan this will only leave Cyprus, to be visited in 2020?
