Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department, Station 40, Provides BLS and ALS Emergency Medical Services as well as Fire Suppresion services to the resdients of RIchland. It operates within the distirict that is between E CR 200 N (South), State Road 9 (West), E CR 800 N (SR128)(North) and S CR 1000 W (East).
Station 40 is also home to the county Hazmat team.
