The Nihonbashi Post Office is located where “Ekiteishi” (current Japan Post) and “Yubin Yakusho” (current the Tokyo Central Post Office) were established when the modern postal system began in 1870s. There are the plate of "the Birthplace of Postal Service" and a bust of Hisoka Maejima, known as "the Father of the Postal System". In addition, there is a golden mailbox that was established in commemoration of 100-years anniversary of the postal system. A sculpture with a design that many people support the earth is placed on a metal body with a message saying "Postal mail connects the world".
The cache is a two-step multi-cache. Please find numbers (a to l) on the plate of “the Birthplace of Postal Service”, the golden mailbox, and the bust of Hisoka Maejima.

日本橋郵便局は、明治初期に近代郵便制度が始まった際、駅逓司（現在の日本郵政）と郵便役所（現在の東京中央郵便局）が設置された地にあり、「郵便発祥の地」のプレートや、「郵便制度の父」として知られる前島密の胸像が設置されています。また、郵便創業100年を記念して設置された金色のポストがあり、「郵便は世界を結ぶ」とメッセージが書かれた金属製の本体の上に、大勢の人達が地球を支えるデザインの彫刻が置かれています。
このキャッシュは2段マルチキャッシュです。「郵便発祥の地」のプレート、金色のポスト、前島密の胸像に記載されている数字（a～l）を確認してください。
