Our very first geocache stash...
This cache is located on one of the islands on beautiful, crystal clear Lake Clear, northwest of Dacre, Ontario (read ‘I need a boat/canoe/dingy/surf board to get there’ -- or wait for winter and some SOLID ice).
There are 2 boat launches and another canoe launch site located around Lake Clear. There are also some primitive Crown Land campsites should you decide to extend your stay. Once you get to the correct island (there are a few on this lake) where the cache is located there’s relatively no bushwhacking necessary. All in all this would be a great trip for the whole family – weather permitting of course.
Lake Clear Cache is in a Rubbermaid-like container (please snap and re-seal lid tightly) and contains various geocache swag, a log book and pencil.
