The cache is located in Winooski, on the nature trail.
This cache is located on the nature trail in Winooski. You'll need to park on the street and pick up the trail at the entrance sign on Route 15, just west of the railroad tracks.
It's a nice trail, some elevation changes and rough sections but not too difficult. It wasn't too buggy when the cache was placed, but I imagine it could be in wet conditions.
The cache is placed in a traditional ammo can. It contains plastic bugs, a golf ball, Corona bead necklace, a bear statuette, some other doodads, a spiral notebook for the log and 2 pencils.
I "think" the cache is well hidden and will be somewhat tricky to find, but as it's only my second placement, I may be way off on that estimate. We'll see...
Once you've located the cache, you can continue on the trail to the power facility and dam, but it's a rocky hike and the area isn't too attractive at that point.
