Geocache Description:

I've headed to South Texas the last four years to visit my parents, who are snowbirds. In that time, the Rio Grande Valley cachers have supplied me with 235 geocaches, so I wanted to give something back. I thought this was a fitting cache for a spot that means a lot to me personally and I wanted to showcase it to others.

This is a relatively straightforward two-stage multicache. At S1 (posted coordinates) you'll find a very cool memorial. Collect some simple information to obtain coordinates to the final. The final is located at N 26° A.BCD, W 98° E.FGH.

A = On the west side of the memorial, how many paragraphs are in this prayer?

B = On the east side of the memorial, how many flags are above the title?

C = On the east side of the memorial, how many letters are in the title?

D = There is an engraved square several paces north of the memorial which is noticeably larger than the other engraved squares. What is the second number of this hero's badge number?

E = On the east side of the wall, how may paragraphs are below the title?

F = On the north side of the memorial, how many law enforcement names are on this wall? (as of 2018)

G = There is an engraved square several paces north of the memorial which is noticeably larger than the other engraved squares. What is the sum of the individual numbers of the year of the End of Watch (EOW)?

H = On the same square, how many "A"s are in this hero's name?

HERO
"An ordinary person facing extraordinary circumstances and acting with courage, honor and self sacrifice."
