Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. Do not go there. You must solve the puzzle below to get the actual coordinates. Will need to BYOP.

The letters A, B, C and D stand for four different whole numbers, and the sum of these four numbers is 72. Also, the four quantities below are equal in value.

A + 5

B - 5

C * 5

D / 5

To find the actual latitude, subtract (C * 2) + (D * 10) - (A * 5) from the last three digits of the posted latitude. To find the actual longitude, add (A * 3) + (B * 5) + (C * 4) + (D * 10) to the last three digits of the posted longitude.

You must start the hunt from one of the two parking areas. The cache is located somewhere along the Orchard Pond Trail. It cannot be reached from the Orchard Pond Parkway toll road itself. The west side trail head is a short drive down the Orchard Pond dirt road from Old Bainbridge Road and has parking for cars and horse trailers. If you approach the cache from this direction, be advised that at the time of placement, water covered about 100 feet of the beginning of the trail, but by careful walking, the tops of my boots stayed dry. Your experience may vary, however, depending on whether it has rained recently. The east side parking area is a paved lot off the Orchard Pond Parkway toll road for cars only. No toll is required if you come to the east side parking lot from the Old Bainbridge Road direction. Toll will be required if coming from North Meridian Road. Cache approved by Leon County Parks and Recreation.
