Dogwood Creek was named after the Dogwood Bushes found along the river banks by explorer Ludwig Leichardt. We chose this spot as when we planted here their was a great view of the river bank where a large cluster birds were perched (probably awaiting the fish!). Apparently Miles is home to over 300 different species of birds, hopefully you will see some too.
If not, put in a rod, the creek is teaming with Perch, Cods, and Yabbies!
