OOTA = Out Of The Ashes of the Thomas fire. In December of 2017 a fire burned from Fillmore to Santa Barbara as then the largest wildland fire in recorded California history. As I have been replacing cache that were destroyed by fire or the flood caused by fire damaged hills, we have been giving the cache the OOTA name.
