Welcome to THE SHELL GAME. It is a POWER TRAIL and should be treated as such. No BLUE FACES HERE. You can start the trail from either end and they both will take you to the town of AGUA CALIENTE. This is a ghost town in Maricopa County in Az. The town grew up around a hot spring and that is where it got its name. The springs have dried up do to irrigation of the farmland in the area. The road is very well maintained by the County. Any car, atv, bike etc. will be able to navigate the road. The family car will get the job done. As some but not all of these maybe on ASTL Parcels where a recreation permit is required. They are available on the Arizona State Land Department's website (https://land.az.gov/natural-resources/recreational-permits) In regards to CELL PHONE OPERATION. It comes and goes. So make sure that you have loaded your phone if that is the way you are caching. The side roads are passable but are not maintained by Maricopa County. GOOD JUDGEMENT SHOULD BE USED. Take your time and enjoy all of the sights that you will encounter. Bring plenty of water. There are no gas stations close so make sure the tank is full. Be careful out there and have fun.
