Geocache Description:

For this "Brought to You" cache, I once again share a concept rather than a container. When visiting Oslo last September, my favorite cache search was for Tullins TB-hotell, GC5M414. Due to limited free time while in Norway, I generally only found caches at the locations we visited on our tour.

During our three days in Oslo, we were constantly on the move during daylight hours. There were lectures along with visits to museums and the City Hall where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony takes place. We were to have a free afternoon, and they instead added a tour to the Viking Ship Museum to see the Oseberg ship which is the burial chamber of a Viking queen and her slave. After our dinners it was too dark to feel comfortable walking to find caches.

Searching for the cache "Tullins TB-hotell" was the exception. It took two days to find this one in small amounts of time between tours and meals. The first day, after visiting an art museum where we saw Munch's "The Scream" I left a few minutes before the tour group and took the walk to map the photo locations before meeting the group again just in time for lunch. The second day I went after the final hide. It was at a distance from the photo walk, yet I was able to dash over there between tour activities and meals. I felt like a naughty kid sneaking away from my parents.

To solve this one, you will walk along the Swantown Marina pathways. Your task is to locate/identify places and objects as shown in the following photos and note the order in which they appear. The photos are marked letters A through G. Assign values 1 to 7 to the letters according to their order of appearance from south to north. If for example A comes sixth from the south, A = 6.

The final cache may be found at:
N 47° 0 [G-F] . [A-C] [B+C] [D-F] W 122° 5 [D-E] . [B+F] [A+G] [A+E]

I worked with the Swantown Marina staff to place this cache. The final hiding location was their decision.

Critical Information before you start:
- near N 47° 03.215 W 122° 53.899, stay to the main walkway west of the planter so that you won't miss one of the objects. I added that as waypoint "Don't Miss" for your use.
- be certain you have an exact match as there may be similar items along the way.
- order the photos from south to north. I gave waypoints for south start and also a north start if you prefer to work backwards.
- please be certain that this micro cache is not visible to the general public when you leave.
- parking - there are three places listed as waypoints - North, Middle and South. North and Middle are free during the day in lots with signs indicating $5 for overnight stays. South is street parking and is free before 8 am and after 5 pm weekdays, and 24 hours a day on weekends and holidays.
- trailheads - two starting points are given as waypoints, one from the south and on from the north.

Enjoy your time on the waterfront.
