I set out to get 3 of the Estrella Mountain area caches this morning. I started from the High School parking lot and after about a half-mile hike, I stopped at the top of a small hill and looked at my GPS unit. I could see all three peaks that were my target for the day. At this point, I had to make a strategy on how to go about conquering all three of the peaks that were in different directions from my current location. At the same time, I decided to leave a cache for the next person that may find themselves in the same situation. This is a good location to strategize on how you may go about conquering all three peaks while also getting another smiley.
The cache is a green bison tube with log book and pencil. No room for swag.
