This tiny cache is located at the shoreline, not far from the parking area for the boat launch on Sinkut Lake. A good place to start a kayaking, or ice fishing adventure. The lake has lots of fish that are easy to catch from a small boat or through the ice. Nearby, the Sinkut River, which is more of a large creek, can be fished from shore. Check the regulations for a seasonal closure on the river. Several species of fish are present, including rainbow trout, burbot, whitefish and other coarse fish, like pike minnow and peamouth A great place to get kids interested in fishing. Bring a pencil!
