In search of a creative Found It log to write a while back, I came up with the idea of writing an ordinary log and then translating it over and over, from one language to another, using online translators such as BabelFish. The cache in question, Dame de chat, is a French-themed gadget cache, so my final log is in French. But, if you translate the text back to English, you get the very hilarious:
A very sacred cow, which has value, and to which one can keep degrees of mountain worship to preserve the agility of a bell (since it is one of the many false assumptions that were tried before leaving the oven).
The poetic experience was merciful without any obligation of fancy maintenance and flowed with the beauty of a clear and fluid flow in the register. I made a false assumption, but I did not notice his misfortune before going on the glorious march to the symbol of the degree. So it was not a coincidence that the embassy was not only a reference to their comings and goings, but also to the final solution.
My! A wonderful afternoon stroll along the waterfront and then into the open research park near our beautiful campus. Go utes! Coordination levels were punctual - thank you very much! It took me more than two or five minutes to warn the crossroads of our gifts and then quickly identify the subject of the cache.
A very brave placement! A real literacy decrypted in the best Poe tradition. It was immediately obvious to those of us in the not obvious, but do not take a look at the sidewinder of those who did not participate in our wonderful hobby ... sport! Have and sit on the green lawn to enter my myriad of conjectures into the mechanism.
Nope! Nope! Not as well! The minutes passed, and the dog was tending to an almost saturated level, which was so confusing to the mind. I must have tried more than a dozen words, while the dog Matia who belonged to these little kittens was sitting with the patient, waiting for us to move at any time!
I finally had to give it and set a call for help to a seal hiker, who was also disturbed, although he did not find the price so far in the distant quest. I gave up and I was ready to leave. Then came the seal mentioned above with the most beautiful revelation and its entry into the mechanism caused a happy opening of the closure and admission was allowed ... I could only hear the meowing.
Thank you for this great afternoon! Favorite place!
The seal referenced is Utah's most famous cacher, HikingSeal.
I have wanted to turn the repeated translation idea into a puzzle for some time, and eventually came up with this one, with a nod to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Following are groups of popular song lyrics. Anyone who has listened to the radio to any extent over the past few decades has no doubt heard them. However, each set has been serially translated into numerous languages, as indicated.
To solve the puzzle, match each set of lyrics with the artist who performed them, also listed below.
Let the translating begin!
Set 1 - English-to-Korean-to-Basque-to-English (5)
Before he traveled he wore my bag
At 9 o'clock
I will be the best kite until then
I lost my earth and lost my wife
I'm lonely in space
Strange flight
Set 2 - English-to-Lithuanian-to-Welsh-to-English (8)
The earth falls in the dark
There is a midnight tent near
Scanning animals for blood
Break your neighborhood
I'll love it tonight
And what is discovered
Without soul, you can fall
You must stand and face hell's dogs
Blow inside the shell shell
I'll love it tonight
Set 3 - English-to-Latin (0)
Venite ad infantem
Sit scriptor facere torquent
Venite ad infantem

Puer, infantem torquent
O Yeah, iustus amo hanc
Et venite ad deesset cum paulo torquent,
Set 4 - English-to-Maori-to-Maltese-to-English (5)
In all breaths, you
Every step you are working on

Each game play
Every night lived
I will look to you
You do not see you mine
My poor husband
Every step you take
Set 5 - English-to-Lao-to-Uzbek-to-English (5)
Upper is a small Lebanese little girl in the world

It goes on and on and on again

My birth and nurturing took place in New York City
But today I am lost between two banks
Okay but not at home, New York City

Your hat is strategically insufficient under one eye
Your scarf is some apricot
The mirror is just an eye
And you see yourself on the boat
All the girls dream that you want a couple
They are your partners and you,
You're so stupid
You may think of this song
You're very scared
I think you think this song is for you
You do not have to
You do not have to
Set 8 - English-to-Bangla-to-Albanian-to-Luxembourgish-to-English (0)

Looks like they're here

He doesn't -
I said something wrong,
Now I'm for yesterday

Well, that's just a lie
They say you have a college degree
Well, that's just a lie
Well, you're not always caught a rabbit and you do not have a friend of mine
