Seaside Goldenrod - Solidago sempervirens, the seaside goldenrod or salt-marsh goldenrod, is a plant species in the genus Solidago of the Asteraceae family. It is native to eastern North America and parts of the Caribbean. This plant was found on the coast of Brevard County, although it usually occurs from Canada to Virginia. The tall flower stalks can reach eight feet and the leaves make a compact clump. It is an introduced species in the Great Lakes region and the Azores.
