Waterbaron: I'm removing this cache per the reasons outlined in the previous log. Geocaching in SC is not yet a criminal activity but I'd hate for a visitor to run afoul of local prejudice.

Location is near one of the island's bike trails, so why not bike there?
Civil War era fort. Built in 1864, this structure guarded nearby Mitchelville. There is more information at the site and a historical marker nearby.
The site is open to the public during daylight hours and is located near a pedestrian path.
The cache is at ground level. Too bad the ground isn't level.
Before you leave, please make sure the cache is not visible to casual observers. The taxpayers of Hilton Head pay good money for regular litter pickup!
Cache is an ammo box.
