Geocache Description:

The scrubjay crew is bringing flowers for a spring fling - remember that some flowers will be easy to find and others may require a search.

Beaked Butterfly Pea, or Centrosema virginianum, is a delicate herbaceous perennial climbing or twining vine with leaves comprised of three narrow, elliptical leaflets, and large upturned purple to pinkish pea-like flowers with white centers. Showy flowers last less than one day. It grows in full sun to partial shade and is adaptable to many soil conditions. Found in southernmost counties.

Placement of this geocache has been approved by Rob Rossmanith, Park Biologist. Please remember, all wheels off the paved road when parking. Do not block any gates or trailheads, and follow the posted speed limits.
