İnceburun, Anadolu'nun en kuzey noktası. Karadeniz'e uzanan Sinop Yarımadasının kuzeybatı ucunda yer alır. Burun, katılaşmış lav ve aglomeralardan oluşur. Dik falezli kıyılarla çevrilen İnceburun'un açığında bulunan ve aynı volkanik kayaçlardan oluşan Davşan Adası, küçük bir kaya parçasıdır ve en kuzey nokta orasıdır. İnceburun'da deniz yüzeyinden 38 m yükseklikte 1863 yılında inşa edilmiş bir deniz feneri vardır. Sinop il merkezine 19 km uzaklıktadır. Deniz fenerini ziyaret edebilirsiniz ancak kule ziyarete kapalı. Deniz fenerinin bakımlarını beşinci kuşaktır orada yaşayan Çilesiz Ailesi yapıyor.

Inceburun is the northernmost point of Anatolia. It lies on the northwestern tip of the Sinop Peninsula extending to the Black Sea. The foreland consists of solidified lava and agglomerates. Located on the outskirts of Inceburun surrounded by steep cliff coasts and composed of the same volcanic rocks, the island is a small piece of rock and this is the northernmost point. There is a lighthouse built in 1863 at an elevation of 38 m from the sea surface in İnceburun. The center of Sinop is 19 km away. The lighthouse is accessible but the tower is closed to the public. The lighthouse keeping is served by Family Çilesiz, who do the job in fifth generation.
