You can drive 1.7 mi. on Quilici Ranch Rd, park, hike on the trail that crosses the railroad tracks for a 1.1 mile hike. Stay on the south side of the river.
Once you've crossed the tracks AT the designated crossing continue west on the dirt road. I spoke with Sierra Pacific Power Co. and hikers are allowed to go around the gate. The trail follows the river. Cache is a metal ammo box. beautiful leisure hike with spectacular canyon views
