Geocache Description:

*THIS IS A HOUMA TRAVEL GEO TOUR PHASE 1 REVAMP CACHE!*

Owned and operated by the father-son-duo of Charles and Lindy Hammond, Hammond's Air Service is truly unique!
At the age of 21, Charlie started a seaplane base business located in Houma, Louisiana. It soon expanded into charter flights and a flight school. Licensed in both planes and seaplanes at the age of 17, there aren’t many people who have not heard his name in his 60 plus years in the industry and over 40,000 hours in the air. The private legendary Hammonds Museum (call for a tour) has a large collection of interesting aviation items, including hand wooden carved planes custom-made from overseas, signed Top Gun movie items, and even some WWII artifacts as well, etc. Every wall is full of pictures and memorabilia of the Hammonds aviation heritage.
Growing up with a father and surrounded by the aviation industry, it is only fitting that Lindy follow in his father’s footsteps. A graduate of Spartan School of Aeronautics, Lindy is a commercial pilot and at one time was hired to fly a Saudia Arabian Sultan to various parts of the world for months at a time.
Hammonds Aircraft Maintenance is run by Lindy while he and his father both teach at the flight school. They are a family that is passionate about aviation. It is one of their many loves of life. Their dedication to their customers is top notch and second to none! With the oldest flight school in the Houma area, you can rest assure that you are learning from the best of the best!

Your cache coordinates will take you to "Lindy"--from there, it can get really tricky! You're looking for a micro magnetic cache.
