Geocache Description:

===The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates===

This cache is placed to honor a dear friend of mine on finding her 5000th cache.  Mau724 and I met at an event cache in 2012.  We started going out on caching adventures while our children were in school and it is always a lot of fun and sometimes amazing adventures!  We have climbed trees together, crossed rivers  and ponds together, drove many miles north in the fall to collect special coins and cached with our children.  She is an amazing adventurer!

She is the type of caching friend who has become a real life friend.  She is one who will drive out of her way for you, brainstorm ways you can qualify for challenge caches, and she has actually picked me up at the hospital when my husband couldn't be there...and she brought me a bento box so I could eat well when I got home!  A true friend.  She has placed many caches for the community and has held a lot of fun events (she'll make you walk the plank!) and CITOs.  She is so thoughtful that a lot of her events and CITOs will help people get a special souvenir icon.  And some of her events are to send friends off onto new locations.

Aya is a huge fan of hockey.  Both of her children play and are really good at the game.

Her group of close friends have created a puzzle, an ammo can with fun contents and went on a fun walk in the woods together.

I'm editing this on 9/27/2023 to add the photo of the group!  Boy am I late with this one!
