Im Jahr 2015 fand das MEGA am MEER Event (GC54932) in Bremerhaven statt, 2017 folgt das Event am Meer (GC6HV29) und weil wir gemeinsam mit euch zwei großartiges Wochenenden in der Seestadt verbracht haben, möchten wir euch 2020 erneut einladen!

Bremerhaven eignet sich ausgezeichnet als Standort für ein Event mit vielen Cachern: Allein in der Seestadt befinden sich knapp 250 Geocaches, im umliegenden Cuxland sind es über 2.000 Dosen! Und nicht zuletzt liegt Bremerhaven an der Wesermündung zur Nordsee, deshalb liegt die Location direkt am Hafenbecken des Fischereihafens.

Geplant ist ein vielfältiges Programm für verschiedenste Cachervorlieben: Es wird wieder einen maritimen Cacher-Basar, die legendäre Piratenhüpfburg und außerdem Spiele für die Großen und die Kleinen geben. Wie auch in den Vorjahren steht bei uns das Treffen von anderen Geocachern im Vordergrund. Wir planen ein interessantes, aber auch gemütliches Event unter dem Motto "Freunde treffen - Schiffe gucken - Fisch genießen".

Der Ablauf sieht so aus:

Freitag, 4. September 2020: "Moin Moin" Event - Community Celebration Edition (GC8HMWP)
Abends: gemütliches Eintreffen, Ankommen, Zusammensitzen und Quatschen - als spezielles Community Celebration Event. Die Details folgen in Kürze im Listing des separaten Events.

Samstag, 5. September 2020: "Event am Meer 2020" MEGA-Event
Haupt-Eventtag von 10:00 Uhr bis 17:00 Uhr mit Logbuch, Shoppingmeile, Hüpfburg und diversen weiteren Programmpunkten (Details zum Zeitplan findet ihr auf unserer Webseite).

Sonntag, 6. September 2020: PirARRtiges Sonntags-Event (GC844RV)
Kleines Abschieds-Event mit Piratenthema zum Ausklang des Event-Wochenendes.

Wenn ihr mitmachen möchtet, loggt bitte einen Will Attend und gebt an, mit wie vielen Personen ihr teilnehmen wollt. Damit dies automatisiert gezählt werden kann, benutzt bitte die Kodierung +Anzahl+ in eurem Will Attend-Log, also zum Beispiel +2+, wenn ihr zu zweit seid! Auch Kinder zählen als ganze Personen.

Durch den "Will Attend"-Log erhaltet ihr alle Announcements automatisch per E-Mail und seid so immer auf dem Laufenden.

In 2015 the MEGA am MEER event (GC54932) took place in Bremerhaven, in 2017 we continued with the Event am Meer (GC6HV29). We've had a great time together and therefore we would like to invite you again in 2020!

Located at the mouth of Weser river, Bremerhaven is ideal as a location for a large geocaching event with many cachers: the city at the North Sea has about 250 geocaches on its own, over 2,000 geocache containers are placed around the city! The event area is located directly at the inner harbour of the fishing port. The Weser embankment is surrounded by a huge number of attractions, what makes it an ideal place for a vivid program.

We plan to address various geocacher preferences: from a maritime cacher basar through the legendary pirate bouncing castle and games for big and little ones. Similar to the previous events meeting other geocachers is the main aspect of this event. We are planning an interesting, but also a comfied event themed "meetings friends - watching ships - enjoy fish".

Friday, 4th September 2020: "Moin Moin" Event Community Celebration Edition (GC8HMWP)
Evening: arriving, sit together and chatting - as a special ans rare Community Celebration Event. Please find the details soon in the dedicated event listing.

Saturday, 5th September 2020: "Event am Meer 2020"
Main event day (10:00 am to 5:00 pm) with logbook, shopping area, bouncing castle and various program points (Please find the detailled time schedule on our website).

Sunday, 6th September 2020: PirARRtiges Sonntags-Event (GC844RV)
Little pirate-themed goodbye event to round up the weekend.

If you would like to participate, please log a will attend and tell us with how many people you want to join. To help us counting the attending people, use the encoding +NUMBER+ in your will attend log, e.g. use +2+ if you plan to join the EVENT am MEER with two persons! Children count as full persons, too.

By logging a "will attend", you will receive all announcement logs automatically by e-mail and will always be up to date.
