This was the original site of the River Crest Sanitarium, a mental institution established 1896 and closed in 1961.1 What is remaining today of the facility is the ramp and gatepost that leads up to it. This geocache can be found right near the foot of this ramp. Today, the ramp leads up to St. John's Preparatory School further back.
*This is a microcache. Recommended to bring tweezers if you have trouble with small cache logs. Bring a pen. Please place back carefully where you found it wedging neatly. The magnet will hold it in place.
***HOW TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER***
* This is a very small cache and can be tricky to put back. After signing the log, roll it back up as best you can. Hold in between your index and thumb and turn to tighten the roll. Once you fully tighten the roll, place back in the "lid" part of the container, connect with the body of the container and screw back together. If you have trouble don't force it and message me to come by and fix it.
