The new Racecourse Connection Trail will eventually be part of the Teign Estuary Trail, which once completed will run from Quay Town in Newton Abbot via the Passage House Inn at Hackney marsh and on to Teignmouth. What great scenery the final walk will give across the River Teign and down to the estuary. N.B: please note the Racecourse Trail can be shut on race days, so check the website to see if it's closed.
The walk here has been a regular stroll for us ever since it opened and we frequently find ourselves wandering past the cache to the pub or one of Newton Abbots fine eateries.
